29 things i love about rebecca (the much anticipated sequel to yesterday's "13 things i love about rebecca"):

*the really hot socks that she wears- the white ones with the gray bottoms

*her grandfather looked like dwight d. eisenhower

*when we were young and carefree (back in sophomore year) we co-wrote an anti-prom survey paper that was really hilarious

*her locker is decorated with enrique iglesias magnets

*she sends me pieces of her breakfast wrapped in notebook paper during math class

*she does an insanely funny impression of kathleen, the resident genius freak

*and she does a great princess ashley voice which i heard for the first time today

*our entire relationship is characterized by a complex series of inside jokes that no one else appreciates

*we have the greatest math dates (i love the way she stokes up her calculator)

*she gave me a little sombrero that she got in mexico

*she let mr. kasdorf, the pervert gym teacher, demonstrate the heimlich maneuver on her in health class

*she detests mai's smelly lotions

*she has a green sparkly pencil with pink astronauts on it

*she is also convinced that princess ashley is a compulsive liar

*she has good dental hygiene

*we have very intense book discussions

*she also liked the stranger and thought muersault was a good guy (i'm still getting over the fact that she hated metamorphosis)

*she wears pastels

*when in ecstasy, her eyes are always closed

*her name in the one act play is doris (that's a hot name)

*she trusted me enough to tell me about her dermatologist appointment where the doctor wanted to look at her butt (how traumatic for the ever-delicate rebecca)

*she watches er and alias religiously

*she is the only friend i have who does not come from a dysfunctional family

*she thinks kendra's hair is a nightmare

*her sister is on the wall in our lit class

*her younger brother is learning german, as a good junior nazi should

*rebecca likes to go bowling

*she would never get a tatoo of barbed wire, our school mascot or our graduation date

*she doesn't keep a prayer journal

my sister is talking to me right now as i'm writing this. she is reflecting on her obsessions with heath ledger and orlando bloom. she just told me that she really needs a boyfriend but all she has is me. how am i supposed to feel about that?

tomorrow cedar and i are going out. all i want is good food and a pot of coffee. i'd even sit through lord of the rings for her just to stuff my face and caffeinate myself after.
