It just occured to me that this election is a battle of the precedents. If Kerry wins, it will be the first time that an incumbant was not reelected during wartime. And if Bush wins, it will be the first time in something like 30 years that the pre-election Redskins game was not an accurate predictor of the outcome. I'm not sure which is more earth shattering.
